"Adsense and other ad campaign" can be run on the same webpage or not is the topic of big concern to every publishers. The reason being that GOOGLE is very strict in their TOS and can permanently bann a publisher from getting earning who have voilated any little of their TOS.

So, what is the answer of the querry?

Fortunately the answer is that yes you can use both the ad campaign on the same website and even on the same page as long as you are maintaining the terms of google. One of our co-blogger also gets stucked with the same problem. He was trying to get Advrite ads on the same page with Adsense ads. So, to avoid any mishap, he had mailed directly to Google Adsense and Adbrite authorities as well and he got the satisfactory results. I am placing the screen shot of what he has got replied from concerned authorities.
So, it is clear that so far you are not trying to making the people and respective ad companies fool by keeping the different color schemes for different ads, you are definitly playing the game on the safe side.

But, i would like you to deploy it strategically to have a effective earning source from adsense and the other ad campaign as well. I am telling you on the basis of my experience as a professional blogger.

  • Do not overload your webpage with ads because the visitors always have a different taste from the publishers. You may think that by overloading your page with respective ads you are helping both yourself and the page visitors too by providing them the maximum probable options to search their querries. But the response is different from what we are thinking.
  • With so many advertisement script, your page takes little more time than usual to load and the potential visitor may find it annoying to wait for your page to get open and they possibily switch to other website.
  • Even if they wait for your webpage to load before them, once it opens they would find at a glance that the page has more ads in compare to the informations they needed. This is not a good impression for your page.
  • It also provides the visitor an impression that you are more interested in earning than providing them valuable information as most publishers who are insuch practice usually are in a hurry to create as many page as they can in a shorter span of time thus avoid the quality of information they are providing. So, your page will get calculated in that catagory and the visitors will probably close it never to open it again.
  • So far the search engine loyalty is concerned, they are also designed with such an algorithm that they preffer better information pages before the visitors. They are supposed to dislike the pages over loaded with ads. This also have an direct impact on your adsense earning.
  • Never allow non related paid ads on any of your pages. This will illusionise your visitors in hurry as if they have landed a wrong page and they will quickly go out of it. Always allow related ad on the related topic page.
So, what would be the better solution?

The better solution is to use different publisher's ads on different pages or to rotate those ads timely on the same page. This will help you in two ways. You are not only playing the game on very safe side but it will also allows you to have a back up for earning even if some how some of the company have bann you for some reason.
